11 things to know about me

  1. Organizing for greater efficiency is one my favorite things to do — from optimizing closet space to retooling manufacturing and sales processes. One of my solutions for managing raw materials at a manufacturing plant reduced waste and saved about one hour of prep time DAILY.

  2. Earning a competitive placement in Michigan State University’s Residential Business College (RBC)gave me direct admission to the Eli Broad College of Business. Thousands of students apply for this honor with about 200 accepted annually.

  3. Participating in national collegiate business case competitions has grown my skills, courage and drive-to-win like no other college experience. Competitions included:

    -Fall 2022, International Business Undergraduate Student case competition at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. Team won 1st place.

    -Winter 2023 National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE), virtual. Team won 2nd place.

    -Spring 2023, Consortium for Undergraduate International Business Education(CUIBE)at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Team placed.

    -Fall 2023 Consortium for Undergraduate International Business Education(CUIBE)at San Diego State University, San Diego, CA. Team placed.

    -Fall 2024 National Team Selling Competition (NTSC), Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Team placed.

  4. Named the MVP of business fraternity Phi Gamma Nu (PGN)in spring 2024. The PGN MVP Awards program is designed to “recognize members who have gone above and beyond to further the success of their chapter, to showcase the best-in-class examples of leadership, and to celebrate the diversity of talent amongst our membership.”

  5. Earned a paid internship with software leader Techsmith Corporation in East Lansing, Michigan. Fielded live customer calls from around the world, responsible for problem solving with the product development team and resolving customer challenges.

  6. Partner in launching and operating the social enterprise Worthy Turtle at worthyturtle.com in spring 2023. Worthy Turtle is an apparel and motivation company that empowers all people to go after their dreams including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities(IDD).

  7. Participated in an international MSU Global Food and Health Science program with a focus on the Mediterranean diet. Spent 6 weeks in urban and rural locations of both Spain and Italy, Summer 2024.

  8. Passionate advocate for people with special needs, including 10 years as a coach for Easterseals Miracle League of Michigan. This volunteer job helping children and adults with a wide range of disabilities has been one of the most rewarding and influential experiences of my life.

  9. Won $17,000 in high school scholarships including first place, Michigan First Credit Union Scholarship for outstanding essay, service and academic performance.

  10. Make a killer pasta carbonara. Love for cooking second only to love for music.

  11. Enthusiastic music aficionado and collector. All genre. All talent. All day, all night.
